Dimdim was an open-source, web-based conferencing and real-time collaboration platform. Launched in 2007, it allowed users to host online meetings, share desktops, show slides, use whiteboards, and stream video and audio through a web browser without needing to install complex desktop software.
Dimdim ceased to exist as an independent product after it was acquired by Salesforce in January 2011.
